Celebration of Chocolate | September & October

"Anything is good if it is made of chocolate" - Jo Brand

We couldn't agree more and decided to create a menu dedicated to chocolate. It is no secret that chocolate is more than just a sweet treat; it can be spiced up with chilli and the darker notes pair well with red meat and salmon. This menu is absolutely indulgent and will be best enjoyed as a 3 course to fully appreciate the different ways chocolate can be used and infused.


Starters

BACON RISOTTO | R80
With chocolate dust & topped with a chocolate dipped crispy bacon strip.

SMOKEY BUTTERNUT SQUASH & WHITE CHOCOLATE SOUP | R65
With a drizzle of fresh cream & parsley.



Mains

COFFEE & CHIPOTLE RUBBED BEEF FILLET | R220
Topped with a chilli chocolate sauce with baby vegetables, caramelised pearl onions & pomme frit.

COCOA SPICY SALMON | R225
On a bed of herbed baby potatoes, wilted spinach and a balsamic & dark chocolate sauce.



Dessert

A PISTACHIO CAKE | R75
Topped with a white chocolate mousse & a strawberry gel. Served with chopped pistachios & fresh berries.
