The owner of our B&B suggested Ginger and they didn’t steer us wrong. Melissa, our server, was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and suggested the perfect wine for the delicious Chateaubriand that David prepared at our table. I really don’t understand why I’m seeing some negative reviews as our experience was fabulous. I can’t recommend this restaurant more highly.

I went to this restaurant twice during a 4 day stay in PE. Highly impressed with the quality of the food especially the fillet steak. Service was friendly and efficient. Whilst prices are a little higher than most South African restaurants it is well worth paying and, compared to a similar restaurant in the UK, very good value.

Top notch restaurant
Excellent service, food was delicious and well presented. Excellent wine list. Despite being a lone diner, I felt the ambience improved my dining experience.

What a great restaurant – light, airy, a feeling of space, with very attentive staff, a full menu with attractively served and very appealing food.

Despite the inevitable load shedding, the generator kicked in and saved the day. It was great that many of the wines were available by the glass, which allows for experimentation and better pairing with the food.

The food was lovely, closest to fine dining I have found in the city so far, we had a mishap with our order and they removed it from the bill and offered a complimentary desert, which wa lovely since it was an honest mistake on their side. The only con is how busy the car park is, which is expected with their location and if it really bothers you, you can sit inside. The bathrooms were lovely as well.

Another superb experience at a Port Elizabeth restaurant. We were there for a wake and the service and attention that we received was truly remarkable. Food was fantastic with a great selection of wines. The service was on point.
